Brought up Catholic but husband and I rather go to Baptist church because its more personal. Is this ok?

Whatever you do, don't leave the Catholic Church, or raise your children in another Church. No matter how personal other churches may, they do not have anything close to the M. The beauty of the sacraments, especially the Holy Eucharist cannot be found outside the Church. If you are really unsure, spend some time before the Blessed Sacrament in prayer and ask the Lord for guidance.
