Am I pathetic?

I am 19, going to college, and am paying for all of it. My parents can't take out a loan because they are in debt, and only my mom is working because my stepdad is in college, too. My older brother is in college. My parents haven't helped me pay for any of my college.. tuition is through the state because I did well in high school.. but the problem is I have NO MONEY to live off of other than minor cash from grants and a student loan through the state... how the hell do I pay rent? I applied at 2304932085390284023 places for a job and only one hired me.. 5-10 hours a week isn't enough.. I was persistent with checking back and following up too. I hate my life right now... I grew up with the same problems.. although my parents are very broke magically my mother bought 300 dollars worth of diet food last month and my stepdad has a new grill.. hmmmm... why couldn't they just help me out a little instead of being selfish? Am I Pathetic for thinking this way?
