Anyone weary of the media's non-stop emphasis on the race of the new President?

OMG, that's all you hear about. If all the black celebrities and emphasis on "the first black president" had preceded the election the backlash from the non-black population would have put McCain in the oval office. Where were all these black celebrities before the election? I think they were told to stand down. No Puff Daddy proclaiming the virtue of a black president prior to the election.
